Hello “Kong” 🙂 thanks for the brief post …i do not trade US stocks ..would like to though but do not have this type of account. However I would be very interested to see why you “re buy” this stock after selling it days ago, i assume you ‘ve bought it back on a dip / as it retraced and found consolidation/ support ? ..in other words , i would be interested to get a visual illustration if possible and if no trouble to you ?
Another question, i’ve just found out about the “subscribers’ part” . Is this a “technical + fundamental analysis ” newsletter / section or do you also trade live with traders/ subscribers?
    thank you for your posts.

When I get into trades based on longer term time frames……I can then move down to lower time frames and “actively trade”

I have bought and sold gold/silver names repeatedly over the past few weeks as I am actively trading on smaller time frames. Yes selling highs….yes re buyin dips.

I use “The Kongdicator” which will be ready for commercial use here very shortly.

    Hi Kong,

when is it time to rebuy silver again?

    • Forex Kong January 31, 2017 / 5:12 pm

now…but you might have a tough time entering with the massive “gap up” we’ve seen overnight.

I generally buy in the late afternoon…so perhaps wait out today/tomorrow and “hope” for pullback but….

Fear is in the air……and fear means gold/silver move significantly higher.

    • Forex Kong January 31, 2017 / 5:14 pm

      Thnx Lyon.

Literally…right to the penny on this one..I bought late afternoon yesterday at 10.10 and wake up 9% in profit.

Don’t we wish every entry was like this? Dream on fellow traders…..dream on.

I wasn’t as bold as you, preferring to wait to see if GDXJ could clear its congestion zone and validate it as absorption, which it did this morning. So I just entered a JNUG trade. The P&F price target is ~16.50 which is +66% and my risk is -12% so 5x… I’d rather be in at your level, though!

Practice makes perfect Power Corrupts….I’m sure you know.

We get it right “some of the time” and take our lumps on a few as well. What I find makes things easier is identifying longer term / macro shifts, to frame larger scale trade strategy…then popping down to lower time frames and hitting it technically / actively trade.

A nice lil combination of both has had these gold trades pay out pretty well. Good luck to you man.

P & F at 16.50? Wow …….I could never allow a crazy number like that to influence my trade decisions.

      16.50 could take years!

I stick with the price action…identifying areas of support and resistance on smaller / shorter time fame charts – once a trend has been established.

I can’t look much past JNUG 12 – 12.50 area..and even at that..we will see a larger scale correction first so…..be safe man! Don’t let a trade turn into a bad investment!

Right, P&F is just an indication of ‘a’ possible outcome. I use an entry stop and adjust it dynamically if trade goes in the direction I am betting. That said, I am betting that GDXJ is breaking out from its congestion area on the (daily) chart from January 5 and a new uptrend is just beginning. I could be wrong and anything can happen. Thanks for your comments!

USD very likely putting in a final daily cycle low and set to bounce.

As much as I looooove miners moving forward….I plan to wait ( with profits in hand now a third time ) 4-6 days before I get another entry.

Hey…I could be wrong too – but this is trading right? I like keeping things extremely nimble here as uncertainty continues to creep in.
