You would be shocked to search for images like “gorilla mad”..or “gorilla sad”etc….somehow , somewhere….sombody has snapped a shot.
The finger is one of the best.

Its a fairly “way out there destination”….several hours further South of Playa. Absolutely beautiful but the town is so small, and you need to drive a reasonable distance out of town to most of the decent hotels.
Make sure you pack some food for the trip, as once you get there…there isn’t much there!

I have been to more “far away places” than most can imagine…and I always look for some kind of “balance” with respect to the lifestyle one might imagine. Mahahaul is just too far out for your average person to imagine sustaining a normal/decent lifestyle.
I’m talking generators….wind power..weekly power outages…fresh water issues etc…a fantastic place to explore but it would be extremely challenging to consider “actually living there”.
